The Value of Self-Regulation

The ability to self-regulate one's own physiological state really is based upon a platform of successful co-regulation. So if you have good experiences co-regulating, you can now self-Regulate. I think it's an embedded sense of our own biological history that we have individually co-regulate, and we know what that is. That gives us the power to be resilient, the resource, the power. It's a resource.
