The Importance of Names in New York City

Jane Bolin was a pivotal figure in both New York history and American history. I'd like to see something named for David Ruggles, who led enslaved people to freedom. Perhaps the island formerly known as Riker's Island should be renamed after those most impacted by mass incarceration there.
