The 2022 chest guidelines say that patients on mechanical valves with AFib all the bridging conversation always comes up. The study from Cohen in 2022 one was not particularly helpful I would think because they talked about CKD patients and that there was less bleeding in a Pixaban than warfarin patients but they didn't use INRs to drive any of the warfarin patient so I think it's kind of hard to know what to do with that information. In general the shift with patients that have AFib and CKD and meet criteria to be on anticoagulation you know there's been this like it's taken a while for them to get in any data really to support doax,
