The Evolution of Consumer Technology
I go back and forth on this view of, look, the evolutionary cycles of consumer tech get more complex and potentially even shorter by design. And you can get to a point where those cycles are so short and they're so profound that there's just an impossibility for like a legislative body or a regulatory body to keep up. But then I think about, could that exclusively be true about the kind of consumer tech that I care about like digital advertising or like identity or just personalization in general? Would that be like less true of like, you know, whatever, the energy industry, right?
