The Growing Demand for Medicare Advantage Plans

There's a lot of reasons that Medicare Advantage can be very attractive for for beneficiaries. The M.A. plans also offer additional benefits that are that are not covered under a traditional Medicare at least at this point. Mike when we had you last on the show November 2021 there was a vote that was coming up shortly after that to provide supplemental benefits to patients in traditional Medicare. Those did not pass. Is that just bare knuckle politics or is there any good financial reason for that?
