M c Sher's work is inspired by his own insomnia. He was also, i think, in conjunction, influenced by bore has. Both have this fascination with the infinite. There's always a little bit of a tragic element to his stuff. But you get this sense of just ebulience and non stop playfulness that there're some dark themes too.
