John Paul the second wrote a book early on before he became, I think he was a cardinal still for where he became pope and it was called the acting person. He talked about consciousness of our own person in the consciousness of others. And so that's really what we're talking about here is how have we formed an awareness of ourself and who we are out of experience That then becomes either a gift or a prison.
