I Think It Depends on the Business Models
I think there's definitely been lots of benefits and companies that existed that wouldn't have been able to exist as open source. But on the flip side if you look at Bitcoin, it has to be like some of these other projects they have to be. And I think a lot of people would like to see more sort of middle ground type licenses where it's the communities encouraged to fork the code redistribute things.
