Three Sources of Tension in the Plaza

Historic preservation, corporate ownership and the amount of space that's sitting vacant are all sources of tension. Three encroaching de lopers on the outskirts of what you might call like the plaza proper want to cach in on the plaza's appeal but tear down historic structures. The most recent example would be this issue around this church on forty seventh street.
