The Hooked Model
Nera: The Hooked Model has four basic steps. It starts with a trigger, which is anything in our outside environment that leads us to action. There are three types of these variable rewards - rewards of the tribe, rewards of the hunt and rewards of the self. Every habit forming product needs to have at least one or more of these three type of variable rewards. Nera: Products get better and better the more they're used because of what I call stored value.
