The Fittingness of the Sufferings of the Son of God

John Piper's theology sounds like it comes out of John Piper's theology rather than out of the text, which is something I'm very afraid of doing. Look at verse 10 very carefully. For it was fitting for him, that's God the Father, for whom are all things. The fittingness of the sufferings of the Son of God flows from God being a kind of God for whom areall things. Jesus exists to call attention to God and not to improve upon God.
