Labour are trying to make the link between austerity and cost of living crisis. The problem with tat s is that we've had two intervening periods, says Akpilisni. Labour's focus on tax cuts over specified public spending does hark back to a more austerity focused economic narrative. But i do think they can use magic money tree effectively, because i think it works for somebody like trubs.
