The History of Polio
Polio is a virus that attacks your spinal cord, weakens your muscles over time and could potentially leave you paralyzed for life. Polio exploded into a full blown epidemic in the early 1900s which maybe sounds familiar because like same shit, different era with COVID. The people polio was affecting and killing the most were children. FDR himself had been diagnosed with polio in 1921 but kept it secret from the public for years.
