The Last Canoe Ride
Chandra and Bob Ski ditched their canoes in the middle of the Rio Grande. They were left with one single canoe, no food or water; they needed to get downriver for help. The group was rescued by a Texan woman named Bonnie McKinney who owns land on both sides of the river. "It was awesome," Chandra says.
