The Importance of a Macro Time Horizon
I don't think most traders have the significant amount of capital that would force them onto a macro time horizon. Just because there's prospects of a recession on the horizon does not necessarily mean the market goes down. There have been periods in history where the market still rallies, even during a recessionary period. Somebody can be an astute macro analyst, and they can be right two years from now. You know, it doesn't mean that you're going to be right in a month or two months.
