Biden Needs Allies to Keep China and Russia in Check
David Rothkopf: I want to read in closing here an op-ed by Sebastian Malaby. He argues that the US needs to do more with its allies because they're going to be tempted over time to go back to China. The United States trade negotiators need to think, who do we need to kind of treat by friends? Yes, it was a huge era not to look for the United States to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific deal. But no, I basically do think that these trade deals should be thought of.
