How Do You Prepare for a Climbing Trip?
In spring and fall, the weather is great for hiking. But then, you know, the jet stream usually dies off the summit. So generally, every morning till noon, i's really good weather below 25 thousand feet. That everest itself gets the wind for almost forty nine weeks of the year. And then in may, mid dlate May, the winds die off. The summit fom from on various forces a that pushd the jet stream away from the mountain.
In today's episode of Backpacker Radio, we are joined by author, mountaineer, and keynote speaker, Dr. Jon Kedrowski.
