The Six Vital Signs of an Eye Trauma Patient
The sixth vital sign is the visual acuity. That should be done at triage by the nurse before you even see the patient. The three physical exam moves that are most commonly overlooked leading to misdiagnoses are the RAPD the visual fields and the IOP.
