The Church Prays for Suicidal Persons

The church prays for persons who have taken their own lives. In 19 forty five, there was an ethic in japanese society that promoted suicide before grave dishonor. And the surrender at the end of world war too, involved grave dis honor. We thus can't judge the hearts of individual people who committed suicide. However, we can, and with the church, should, pray for those who took their own lives and asked god to bring them into his kingdom of joy.
