My 20-month-old son has made enormous leaps in his language learning over the past few weeks. We've just reached a stage where he's repeating literally everything that we say to him. This includes words and phrases that he's never heard before. He associates utterances with objects, sensations, moods, people and places. My son has recently started using final consonants.
