Community Acquired Pneumonia

There's not a clear universal definition of community acquired pneumonia, which I think is one thing that makes it tough. In practice we see a lot of kids who come in with asthma exacerbations from viral illnesses who look very similar to kids with pneumonia. So when thinking about this patient who's really just coming in with fever, cough and a focal finding, I want to use this as a jumping off point to talk about what is exactly community acquired pneumonia.
