"I would never tell anybody to follow in my footsteps," he says. "None of that would have been possible without DIY." The internet is great, but it's not a book about the internet being bad or everything's bad in the arts because of the internet. If you've got talent and drive, if you feel like this is what you have to do with your life, or you'll never be happy, put in the work. You can also lucked into a good day job that enables you to make progress on your work.
