The Kingdom of God

Jesus spoke to his disciples with many parables. He did not speak to them without a parable but privately to his own disciples he explained everything. The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed which when sown upon the ground is the smallest of all the seeds on earth. It grows up and puts forth large branches so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade. Psalm 20, Prayer for Victory to the Choir Master: "They will collapse and fall, but we shall rise and stand straight"
