If your goal is to hit those bassetalists and land a traditional book deal, it's not going to work. Many of the books we write already have a pub deal in place. If yourself publishing, are going own the hybrid route, you may still want to get started really early with the publishing strategy. Most good hybrid publishers still want a long runway to have a full sale cycle.
