Micro Programming and Hard Wire Control Units
There are two main ways of implementing a control unit. You can use what's called the hard wide or hard codeed approach, or you can use something called micro programm. Hard wire control units are implemented using combinatorial logic gates. Micro programming involves storing all those signals in a special memory called the micro programme.
