The Problem With Hitting Behind Vehicles
The idea was zodiac pulled up alongside the rambler and fired two shots at the couple to force them out. At that point, he noticed James Owen arriving or saw his headlights in the distance and concealed the couple behind the car. But there's one major problem with this: The vehicle's coming. He hides the mount of sight. So you've got this problem of the doors being closed when Owen passes. In theory, that's what we suspect. But then the vehicle door being open again. And this sort of sticks a spanner in the works when we consider them hiding behind the vehicles.
