I wonder if there's a way to make this argument to do this where the severing process will yield these diverging conscious structures right and that it therefore is necessarily about it. So what you do is because you have a really like oppressed Puritan society outside that doesn't let you engage in things what they've done is they have created a world in which your severed other can go in there and just do whatever the fuck you want. And then it'd be really interesting to see the impacts of what that would do on the embodied experience of the non severed self the Audi.
