Mitch McConnell is 80, and he just lost the Senate that he was expected to win. He doesn't have a lot on the campaign side to hang his hat on. What he does have going for him is there's not a clear challenge or two in the Senate. The more populous, the more MAGA candidates that have taken over the house caucus are slowly but surely replacing the old men in the House.
