Women in Film - The Dell Test
Women in film, very much up to this day, are meant to occupy only passive roles. They are meant to accompany men, to be looked at, not heard. These dynamics that we see on screen, where women occupy passive roles in men active roles, is mirrored in everyday life. Women are expected to take on certain passive roles in work life, in home life and even when they do sume active rules, those rules are erase.
