Gillian Flynn's the Night Manager

The first couple episodes are so slow. I almost gave up to. I'm just like, wow, nothing has happened. So it does have sort of that satisfaction of a slow burn once you kind of get. It starts to get really interesting. Like Gillian Flynn's first novel. That is her first one is sharp objects. And then they made it into an eight part mini series with Amy. Similar characters. Very, very diabolical people. But yeah, having read the book, I was impressed.I thought that structurally, the book is such a twisting and turning ride that the experience of reading the book is what exactly you need to try to duplicate.
