The Problem With the Language Used to Define Abortion
Even in states that have some restrictions, but allow for exceptions for the health of the mother, language is vague and hard to understand. This has been a huge problem since Roe was overturned. I did a story about two women in Florida who had a life-threatening pregnancy complication. The doctors involved in that case had absolutely no guidance and no idea what they could do and what they couldn't.
