Software and Technology Career Development - Is There Any Downside to It?
The generation prior to us, it was much more common to stay at your company for 20 some odd years. But the climate around that has changed a lot since then. I wonder if the technology industry changed sooner than the others and it was more common for developers to jump jobs. It's hard to know what to do career wise. There's so many languages and technologies out there. Every time I learn a new language, I feel like I'd learn how more of the world works.
