The Future of the Web Economy

i'm sceptical that apple or google will get involved in the web economy. I don't even imagine ha future of apple convincing me i'm going to own some digital version of something like, what is that? Like we just saw what the whole epoc ames thing th with the apstore. What does that look like from an open web, three block nft type space? It feels like a rebranding of a lot of things too. So it has to be told at some point.
