The most important thing and part of what was a given for what I'm talking about today is what you're writing about. Peer review journals, the editors and the editorial boards are looking for something that adds to the literature. Nobody wants to go over exactly what's been published in the past. They're looking for something new or novel. The hallmark of the top journals in the field really come down to quality. Now that can seem like it's almost overwhelming how am I going to come up with something that's breaking new ground but people do it every day and in every journal.
