The Excellent Book on the Art of Magic
Dr. Cummins just published a book called the excellent book on the art of magic, which is an incredible book. If there is a Western magical tradition, it is in the grimoires and its story is more interesting than even you can imagine. The people that wrote this stuff down were almost certainly Humphrey Gilbert and John Davies to 16th century courtiers and what we used to call explorers, colonialists.
