The Relationship Between Christianity and Democracy
There is a sense in which both parties in this relationship have left each other over the ears, right? There's also a sense though, that the parent has left the child. That tha christians have forgotten. They've almost become like the senile, a dimentia induced parent. Now don't recognize their parental responsibility for democracy. A misinterpretation of the separation of church and state doctrinas to say, let's squash christianity,. or any religion, from public, from the public square, entirely.
