The Thick Black Fish

You see one of these thick black fish that is kind of like, swimming through the water. You watch as it kind of like glances in your direction but you do not see eyes on it. The thing is probably about this long, like head to tail. Thick. No eyes, kind of a black scale a bit to it. And where its fins are, you can see the kind of gives these long, almost ribbon like tethers that kind of drift from the sides of its fins and its tail. It swims over up near your head under the water and just kind of recognizes your presence and keeps slithering.
