What's the Storage Engine?

In MongoDB, what we're storing is just a document. The storage engine has a property called the page size. In an ODB MySQL, that's 16K, Kilo byte. But Postgres is 8K, and you can change this page size. And all really helps pinpoint exactly what page you are trying to read. So indexes will help fast track what you're looking for, right? That's also part of the storage engine, the type of indexes you're creating. This is a digest, this is a B3, right?"
