i have a great uncle who was buried than a commonwealth wargrave cemetery in yokohama. But there was very different treatment between the germans and the japanese. The western allies were treated very differently from what happened on the eastern front. American po ws were targeted, unknowingly, by other allied forces as they moved them across the pacific to various sites.
