Diversity on the Bench Makes a Difference
When i started, there were no women teaching me. There were no women on the bench. And when sanderday o'connor was appointed as the first woman a it suddenly was oh, that's something that i could and i was already a lawyer. I had already argued in the supreme court. But now suddenly i could actually aspire to it was very inspirational. We also have so much evidence, so much research, that shows diversity on corporate boards, diversity in education, and diversity on the bench, makes a difference to our country. It has to happen. This is essential"
