Our protagonist and narrator so far of the show Gail, she's a mathematician who solved this ancient puzzle called a Braxis. And in solving this puzzle, she's pretty much broken every taboo on her planet, Synax where it's illegal to be curious about ancient knowledge. If I was a math teacher, I'm using this show as propaganda for my students to understand that math is crucial, crucially important.
