The Insincerity of Lucy Black Elk

Hilden Ihart claims to have heard Black Elk talk about his children as a 14-year-old girl. She didn't make the claim until she was interviewed in 2000, 70 years after alleged conversation occurred. Hilda went on to say that becoming aware of her native beliefs from this book changed her life.
