Demi's Life and Career
By 1984 she had left General Hospital after a stint of two years on the show and then in 1985 when she was 23 she started dating fellow actor Emilio Esteviz. They got engaged Zara after dating for less than a year but it didn't work out so by 1986 she was actually single once again. Her career was absolutely taking off by this point. She had starred in several major films and by1986 she was actually starring in an off-Broadway play. The plan was that she could do the movie and get sober and she did for a time.
