The conversation about monogamy and non-monogamy today is quite parallel. It was a time not too long ago when virginity was the first sexual boundary that people were continuously negotiating. We talk about diverse families but we don't go around saying, ah, they divorced. So that changed. And the conversation about polyamory is a timing issue too. At this moment, it's very different. It's shocking. It's taboo. The way that the heteronormative, you know, patriarchal, couple kind of was established feels very radical. Give it time.
