The M a in Creative Writing

I admire writers who do the m a in creative writing. I want my writing to come from deep inside of me, and i want to touch my reader's soul. Because it's our attention span and our time that is so limited nowadays. And i feel this my obligation to give my reader something that touches his soul. This can only be emotion, and emotion cannot be measured. But i'm actually planning, and i should be. That's why should be careful. It's when you're writing how much of that is considered?
