I think it is important to say that you can't conceive of conscious life apart from the superstructure, but there's still creativity and imagination. It's not this kind of dour look of social programming where there's, you know, you can't just can't see beyond a limited horizon. And I mean, you have serfs only in a feudal society. Imagine you're walking down the street in a capitalist society nowadays with all these squires and knights. You wouldn't look at that and think, Oh, that's real. Or are these people insane?
