I Identify Myself With My Will

Stuart Hampshire argues that even thought about practical matters is quote, self-directing. So it doesn't matter whether I'm an axe murderer or whether I'm disposed to drink too much,. He says he identifies himself with his will. That means his ideas, what other philosophers will describe as the homunculus fallacy. The little man inside us is our will. And the will is before the little TV monitor of the computer and that's practical reasoning.
