The Justice Department Charges Donald Trump With Aiding or Giving Aid in Comfort to Insurrection

The Justice Department has charged a bunch of people with seditious conspiracy for the January 6th attack. Conviction carries a maximum of 10 years in prison, but it's an additional penalty besides prison. If Trump were to be charged with insurrection and convicted under this statute, arguably he would be disqualified from serving as president ever again.
