The Power of Dissolves in Film

We use some dissolves coming out of emotional moments that i liked. The music gives you chance to breathe the other great thing about dissolves is they can hold your hand as a transition into the next scene without you feeling another scene starting so for example at the end of the desert we cross fade into the tv screen into the dni and you feel like those two scenes are kind of organically linked somehow. discovered in the last week of the mixYeah that was in the lastweek of the mix  and thank heavens for James mather and his team when we came up with this sound and put it on then basically all the notes on the film went away and it just became subjective notes
