This is one of the oldest and most tired arguments against god. Is the foundation of moral values. If it's morally good just because god says so, the morality is not morality at all. Its might makes right. It's about whether or not you can live up to the arbitrary whims of this celestial dictator. Theist say basically what plato said, namely, that god is the good and thatgod is the paradise of goodness.
